Kartnote Pro is the paid tier of Kartnote. It adds more analysis and faster session preparation. You manage Pro in the Subscription section of the Settings tab.

What Pro adds and what stays free

These stay free:

  • Logging sessions, lap times, setup, weather and notes
  • Personal bests, the dashboard (including Track PBs), session details and track pages
  • Drivers, karts, engines and classes
  • iCloud sync and Export CSV data

Kartnote Pro adds:

  • Insights on the dashboard: your Most consistent session, the track with the Most progress since your first visit, and your Biggest step between two sessions at a track.
  • The Last session section on a session, with Compare to see lap times, chassis, tires, engine and weather next to your previous session at the same track.
  • On track pages: the Progress charts, how much your track best has improved since your first visit, and deltas against your earlier sessions at that track.
  • Auto-fill previous setup, plus suggestions for tire, plug, jet and fuel/oil values you used before.
  • Changes to many past sessions at once: Assign kart to past sessions…, Assign engine to past sessions… and Assign class to past sessions…. You can also merge duplicate classes: swipe right on a class to merge it into another class. This needs at least two classes.

Subscribe

  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Under Subscription, tap View plans.
  3. Read the offer. The price is shown in the sheet.
  4. Tap the subscribe button and confirm with your Apple ID.

The sheet closes when Pro is active, and Plan shows Kartnote Pro. If you see "Purchase pending approval.", the purchase is waiting for someone to approve it. Pro starts after it is approved.

If you see "The purchase could not be completed.", the purchase did not go through. Try again. If you see "The purchase could not be verified.", Plan changes to Unable to verify. See "Unable to verify" below.

Restore Pro on a new phone

  1. Sign in with the same Apple ID that you used to subscribe.
  2. Open Settings and tap Restore purchases.

If you see Subscription restored, Pro is active again. If you see No active subscription, this Apple ID has no active Kartnote Pro subscription. You can also restore from the View plans sheet.

"Unable to verify"

If Plan shows Unable to verify, Kartnote could not confirm your subscription with the App Store. Pro features are unavailable until it can.

  1. Check that your phone is online.
  2. In Settings, tap Retry subscription check.
  3. If that doesn't fix it, tap Restore purchases.

If restoring shows "Kartnote could not verify the subscription.", wait a while and try again. Checking... means the check is still running.

Cancel or change your subscription

Kartnote has one plan, a yearly subscription. To cancel it or change how it renews, open Settings and tap Manage subscription. Your App Store subscriptions page opens, and you make the change there.

If Pro ends

You don't lose any data. Your sessions, laps and notes stay in Kartnote, and logging, history, iCloud sync and CSV export keep working. Pro-only cards and rows are hidden. These include Insights, the Last Session card, track Trends, the Assign rows and merging classes. If a Pro screen is open when Pro ends, it closes. In Settings, Auto-fill previous setup shows a lock. If you turn it on, the Pro offer opens. Plan shows Free, and you can subscribe again from View plans at any time.
